N. J. Femia, (Nicholas Johnathon Femia) was born on June 5th, 1992, in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada.
At a very young age he was very skilled with language learning, and was always proficient in creative writing. In the 1st grade he received an award for reading more than 100 books, and he didn't make a single spelling mistake on a spelling test until midway through elementary school. In the 10th grade, in his English class, his teacher falsely accused him of plagiarism because she didn't believe he had wrote such a creative story for the assignment in class. It was in the 11th grade that he had an epiphany to officially become a writer as his natural born passion and talent, and in the 12th grade at 17 years of age, he experienced a vision in his imagination that would then become the Vaylavyne book series. From this vision, he brainstormed and mapped the whole adult fantasy fictional book series meticulously in his mind before he began writing 'Vaylavyne and the Depths of Drasharrow', the first volume of six in the saga, in his second year in college. Upon completion of the novel, it was unpublished for approximately 3 years before he published his first book with Christian Faith Publishing, a publisher that also works with purely fictitious works.
In his spare time when he isn't working or caught up in the daily necessities of life, he works as much as he can on volume two of the series, and prefers staying in with family and friends rather than a fancy nightlife. He would much rather prefer to write, read, or one of his favourite past times, play video games, rather then go to loud and crowded places. He loves his dog and he ultimately strives for the greater good of mankind, and would do anything to impact the world in a positive way.
